Terence Woodgate - Seating (2000)
Style and structure are given equal measure in Canada Place mall's unique seating.

Created by British designer Terence Woodgate, the aluminium benches reflect the light from above.
They are intended to complement the flooring, appearing like rafts floating on Antoni Malinowski's ocean-like surface.
Terence was born in London in 1953 and originally trained as a design engineer. He turned to furniture design in the mid-eighties and opened his first studio in 1988.
He worked in Belgium for international manufacturers including Cappellini and Teunen & Teunen before returning to the UK and building a studio in Sussex.
He has designed furniture for Heathrow and Stanstead airports
