Blackheath Fireworks will be held on Saturday, November 7 on Blackheath Common, but what is this display all about and how do you actually get there?

Where?

It is held on Blackheath Common, which is next to Greenwich Park and only a 10-minute walk from Blackheath rail station.

What?

There will be a funfair from noon, food and drinks stalls (including a bar) open from 5pm and the display will be at 8pm.

Why?

It is the largest free display in south-east London and in the very leafy and beautiful surrounding of Blackheath.

You could take a walk through Greenwich Park on the way home, or have dinner before the fireworks start at one of the many restaurants. Our favourite is Cau – read our review here .
