Saturday has finally rolled around – hooray. After you’ve had a lie in and brekkie in bed, venture out into the sunshine with our top three things to do.
1. Enjoy grooves and grub in the East End
Head on down to Visions Festival in Hackney for an arty, foodie and music extravaganza. It’s spread across seven different sites so you can while away the day strolling from one to the other, listening to acts like Gazelle Twin then munching on Mama’s Jerk Station signature Caribbean goodies. Tickets cost £35.
From 1pm, Cambridge Heath
2. Show off some fancy footwork
Grab your pals and spend an afternoon grooving to the beats of MoveMe. All ages and abilities are invited to what’s been called a “dance class meets flash mob meets party”. Oh, and it’s free.
From 4pm, Crossrail Place
3. Bowl to the beats
Mix punk with the pins and pints at Brooklyn Bowl as Less Than Jake and Anti-Flag take over the venue. Attempt to time a strike to the band’s varied back catalogue of tracks or style it out with a dance if you end up with your ball in the gutter. Tickets cost from £22.
7pm, North Greenwich
