1. Take in a classic film

Continuing the BFI’s summer season of outdoor film screenings at Canary Wharf’s Canada Square Park, the big screens will show a 1958 family film The Salvage Gang. The screening is free to attend.

2. Witness a guitar master

It may not be the weather for it, but musical virtuoso – and probably the world’s greatest living guitarist – Carlos Santana will play his mix of Samba rhythms and smooth jams to an undoubtedly packed out crowd at The O2 arena. This is one not to be missed for the musos of Canary Wharf. Tickets: £56.30-£97.80.

3. See the Piano Man

The Billy Joel Songbook’ featuring the music of Billy Joel performed by Elio Pace and his band will be coming to Boisdale of Canary Wharf. Expect hits such as Piano Man and Uptown Girl to rock the regulars. Tickets: £15-£55.
