Award-winning company Familia de la Noche return to Wilton’s for an exclusive preview of its new Edinburgh Fringe show, the Very Grey Matter of Edward Blank. A dark comedy based around the human imagination, this should suit those with a taste for the eerie side. Tickets are £12.50.

3. Have an open-air evening
For those of you who love being up on the roof, a summer outing for selected pieces from The Space’s One Festival, One Summer features solo performers, out in the open. The third One Festival took place in January and featured 16 different solo performances. The two pieces chosen for the roof party are Tatyana And The Cable Man and The Fantastical Tale Of The Boy On The Run. They are free to attend.
