The opening night of TED 2016: Dream will be screened at Greenwich Picturehouse in February.
The two-hour show, hosted by TED curator Chris Anderson, will present the first evening of TED 2016: Dream, which will be held in Vancouver, Canada, from Monday, February 15-22.
The first day of the talks will be screened the following day at Greenwich Picturehouse.
The week’s talks will be dedicated to “the greatest dreams we are capable of dreaming” and will be “a week to stare hard at humanity’s toughest challenges, to listen to our greatest thinkers, artists and storytellers”.
World-renowned thinkers, artists and storytellers will share their “ideas worth spreading” in the hope of creating wonder and optimism “that represents the world at its best.”
Speakers include entrepreneur, scientist, and author, with expertise in the field of intelligent technology Astro Teller, author Riccardo Sabatini, who is also a scientist and entrepreneur, musician and composer AR Rahman, writer and producer Shonda Rhimes, Bhutan’s Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay and director, choreographer and dancer Bill T Jones.
