Simple Minds will be bringing their ‘crashing beats and fantasy’ to The O2 with their Big Music Tour 2015, which will showcase their 16th album Big Music.

The band will be supported by The Stranglers. - best known for their hit Peaches - when they play at the North Greenwich venue on Thursday, November 26.

Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill will be joined by stalwart drummer Mel Gaynor, bassist Ged Grimes, backing vocalists Sarah Brown and Catherine AD.

The band have spent most of 2015 touring Europe, and will now play six dates in the UK, including London, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Dublin and Aberdeen.

The group formed in 1977 and enjoyed hits with Don’t You (Forget About Me), Belfast Child and Promise You A Miracle.

After fading away from the limelight in the eighties they came back with hits like She’s A River and Hypnotized in the nineties.
