The MCM Comic Convention saw a staggering 130,000 gamers, geeks, nerds and neeks pass through its doors during the weekend of October 23-25.
The London Comic Con’s winter edition celebrated its biggest spectacle ever, as 130,560 people came to the Excel centre in Royal Docks, eclipsing the 122,600 attendees at May’s Comic Con and the 110,200 at last October’s show.
This makes the MCM London Comic Con ’s the third largest comic convention on the planet – just behind US rivals New York and San Diego.
Visitors to the show enjoyed a whole sci-fi, film, television, comic book, videogame, anime, manga and cosplay. With panels including Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss on Sherlock and Doctor Who; Alan Tudyk and Nolan North on new comedy Con Man and Charlie Higson on Jekyll and Hyde.
MCM London Comic Con returns on May 27-29, 2016.
