Christmas has come early for east London’s boat enthusiasts after a handful of luxury vessels moored up at Excel.
Super-sized yachts, including The Princess 75 and the Pearl 75, have sailed into Royal Victoria Dock in preparation for The London Boat Show 2016 , which starts on Friday, January 8.
The second and third-biggest models to be showcased will soon be lifted into the Main Hall at the Docklands event space for the nine-day extravaganza which will showcase around 400 boats.
These include more than 12 world launches such as the Sunseeker 131 and the Viking 295 while other new models will be on display on the dockside.
Visitors eager for the latest in boating accessories can snap up goodies from around 100 producers, many of which are being revealed for the first time.
Made in Chelsea star Lucy Watson will cut the ribbon to open the event at 10am on January 8.
Meanwhile, the show’s new Mediterranean Bay is being built and exhibitors from across the globe have snapped up all available space.
