London Rat Race has joined forces with homeless charity Shelter to bring its action packed obstacle course back to Excel.

The event on Saturday, August 13 is billed as the most fun 10km of the summer, with competitors set to swim, crawl, jump, slide and laugh their way around the course.

According to the organisers, tens of thousands of Rat Racers will be tackling more than 35 obstacles including the 50ft water slide, the giant inflatables and what is apparently the biggest water jump in any UK race.

Money raised from the event will go towards families who are fighting homelessness in Britain.
