World-famous Italian film composer Ennio Morricone will perform at The O2 this month as part of his world tour.
The concert on Tuesday, February 16 , is part of a new programme to mark his 60-year anniversary as a professional composer and conductor.
The performance will follow on from a European tour which ended in Zagreb, and saw him perform to more than 150,000 audience members in 22 European cities.
Over the past six decades, Morricone has composed more than 500 scores for cinema and television, as well as over 100 classical works.
Among the films he has worked on are Days of Heaven, French comedy trilogy La Cage aux Folles I, II, III, Disclosure, Ripley’s Game and The Hateful Eight.
