Born in Bradford, Dynamo learned one of his first tricks as a reaction to being bullied – his grandfather taught him the illusion to make it seem to his tormentors that he was too heavy to be picked up.

Afflicted with Crohn’s Disease resulting in a small stature his affliction has not prevented him attracting much attention in recent years for his award-winning TV show Dynamo: Magician Impossible and stunts that have included walking on the Thames and levitating next to a London bus.

Known for performing tricks with celebrities he once levitated Matt Lucas four feet off the ground.

Various times, Tuesday, March 29-30, from £32.50, The O2 arena
