Bellator MMA fighters will be going to war during a weekend of boxing, martial arts and heavy lifting at The O2.
Arguably England’s two top welterweights, Paul Daley and Michael Page have each been assigned new opponents for the upcoming event at the North Greenwich venue on Saturday, July 16.
Former welterweight world champion Douglas Lima will fight Daley after an undisclosed injury forced Josh Koscheck to withdraw.
Gritty Brazilian veteran Evangelista Santos will step in for Fernando Gonzalez to fight the undefeated Page.
The main card features a light heavyweight contest between local hotshot Linton Vassell and Francis Carmont as well as a heavyweight slugfest pitting Matt Mitrione against Oli Thompson.
The event begins at 4.30pm with tickets from £40 available here.
The fights occur as part of the Combat and Strength Show, which takes over The O2 that weekend.
The show will begin on Saturday, July 16 and feature a host of live events, fan experiences and international competitions.
These include amateur combat sessions in Muay Thai, amateur boxing and submissions wrestling alongside strength-based activities like powerlifting, arm wrestling and the strongman amateur championships.
There will also be a chance to meet MMA legends during the Bellator MMA fan experience and to kick back at Cineworld for the Fighting Spirit Film Festival featuring beloved combative titles like Kung Fu Panda and Drunken Master.
From 10am onwards, Saturday, July 16 and Sunday, July 17, from £10 at The O2
