A new exhibition is set to explore the turbulent life and career of the boxing legend. I Am The Greatest: Ali, organised with the support of his wife Lonnie, will trace the story of the sportsman’s life that coincided with a volatile period in America’s history.

Muhammad Ali declared his allegiance to the Nation Of Islam after meeting Malcolm X, and was later a conscientious objector during the Vietnam War.
As well as more than 100 artefacts from the athlete’s career, the show includes a full size boxing ring. Co-curator Davis Miller, said the exhibition would allow visitors to experience what it was like to be in the ring with Ali.
