Harmony will fill Canada Square Park when vocal group The Overtones perform a special outdoor concert on Tuesday, July 26.

The five-piece group was discovered by a Warner Bros. Records’ talent scout while working as decorators in a shop near Oxford Street, singing during their tea break.

Their debut album Good Ol’ Fashioned Love has sold more than 500,000 copies and in 2014 they toured with Sir Cliff Richard.

Timmy Matley, Lachie Chapman, Mike Crawshaw, Mark Franks and Darren Everest will now be bringing their silky song voices to Canary Wharf. Expect to be transported back to the days of doo-wop and Motown and then brought back to the present day with their take on R&B and pop tunes.

They will be supported by close harmony girl band The Femmes, who will perform toe-tapping classics and contemporary hits with a sassy retro twist.

Tuesday, July 26, 7pm, free, Canada Square Park
