Music legends Sir Tom Jones and Van Morrison will join forces for their first public performance as a duo on closing night of Prudential BluesFest at The O2.

The stars - friends since the Sixties - will take to the North Greenwich stage on November 8 for what is the three-day event's largest offering to date.

Billed as Bring It On Home – an evening with Tom Jones and Van Morrison the gig will feature two full solo sets with various duets in the pipeline.

Other artists performing across the weekend from November 6 to 8 include Grammy-winning blues-rock group Tedeschi Trucks Band, British blues star Jo Harman, the wildly popular Dave Matthews Band and one of the most respected artists on the UK blues scene, guitarist and singer Matt Schofield.

Matt will also be on stage at Brooklyn Bowl, in The O2, on November 8.

Festival Director Leo Green said: "We’re delighted to be welcoming Van Morrison & Tom Jones back to the festival for their double header at The O2 Arena on November 8 - both playing full sets with their bands and hopefully a few duets together too.

"With Dave Matthews Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Jo Harman and Matt Schofield also on the bill, this year’s event is shaping up to be our strongest to date."
