Saturday, July 16 will see the return of disco-punk outfit LCD Soundsystem, who will take to the Lovebox Main Stage after a five year hiatus. This special headlining set will see James Murphy and co revisit classic tracks from their decade-long career.

The two day event in tower Hamlets also boasts performances from Stormzy, Katy B, Jack Garratt, Norman Jay and Oh Wonder.

Yee-ha, ride that magic carpet

While your ears are filled with some of the freshest music around you can fill your belly with food from PattyandBun, Bubbledogs, Mr Bao, Mother Clucker, Smokestak and The Duck Truck, to name a few and wet your lips at the numerous booze bars.

If you’re not quite selfie ready then fear not as you can spruce up your festival style a la Frida at the Pop Tart Boutique, be painted from head to toe at Squiggles and Wiggles, sprinkled with sparkle at The Parlour, or have your wild locks tamed at The Braid Bar.

Sparkle, sparkle

Then it’s off to the Hip Hop Karaoke to act out your fantasy of appearing on the Lovebox stage.

Not completely exhausted by all this fun? Then head to one of the After Dark parties and see acts such as Goldie perform at Oval Space, Joey Negro at Village Underground and Hannah Wants at The Laundry. Even more mayhem than usual is sure to ensue at super club Fabric with a massive line-up of DJs set to take to the decks.

Lovebox , July 15-16, main festival noon to 10.45pm, £54.50 (plus booking fee) Victoria Park.
