Pete Doherty and his band mates will be playing for one night only at The O2 in January.

The Libertines, who released Anthems For Doomed Youth in September 2015, will perform in North Greenwich as part of their biggest ever UK tour.

Support acts for the gig on Saturday, January 30, are the Sleaford Mods and The Enemy.

The Libertines feature vocals and guitar from Peter Doherty and Carl Barat, John Hassall on bass and Gary Powell on drums.

Despite having been together since 1997 this is the band’s first full UK arena tour, following a tumultuous few years that included arrests, addictions and breakups.

But after Pete Doherty completed a drug rehabilitation course in Thailand last summer the band seem to be back on track.

The foursome will play their last UK date at The O2, then perform in Germany, Amsterdam, Belgium, France, Austria and Switzerland.
