Forging sounds of classical music with rock, 2Cellos are the third act to headline Greenwich Music Time during summer 2016.

The pair will join Grammy Award-winner Jamie Cullum and 1980s retro pop band Roxette at the World Heritage site for six days of open air concerts between July 5 and 10.

The Croatian band has taken YouTube by storm, with their videos clocking up nearly 200million views and they have collaborated with stars including The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Andrea Bocelli.

And even Sir Elton is a firm fan.

He said: “Go and see them live, because it really is astonishing! I can’t remember seeing anything as exciting as them since I saw Jimi Hendrix live back in the 60s.”
