Nobody puts Baby in the corner. No, Canary Wharf Group put her in the East Wintergarden instead. Dirty Dancing The Tribute Show offers fans of the film a high-energy live celebration of the moves and grooves therein.

Numbers include Be My Baby, She’s Like The Wind, Do You Love Me, Hungry Eyes, Hey Baby and, of course, I’ve Had The Time of My Life.

And it’s not just the performers who’ll get in on the act. Audience members are invited to strap on their dancing shoes and let the thrill of the summer of 1963 flood their bodies, raising them out of their seats like a girl on the hands of Swayze.

The show promises to be a “high energy, emotional roller-coaster of an evening with breathtaking choreography and buckets of nostalgia”.

Just remember to take a mop. If those buckets slop over it could get messy in there and nobody likes a dirty floor.

7.15pm, Tuesday, April 19, £20, East Wintergarden
