Most of us know Bryan Adams for song (Everything I Do) I Do It For You which featured on the Robin Hood Prince of Thieves soundtrack and sold 15 million copies worldwide.
But there is much more than romantic ballads to the Canadian rocker who comes to The O2 on on Saturday, May 7.
The 56-year-old is one of the world’s best selling artists of all time and with almost 44 million album sales, beating the likes of Stevie Wonder, The Beach Boys and David Bowie.
He also funds a foundation to help educate children, was the first Western artist to perform in Karachi, Pakistan after the September 11 attacks and last year brought his photographic exhibition of wounded soldiers to Somerset House.
In October he released his 13th studio album Get Up, produced by ELO frontman Jeff Lynne, and will be performing tracks from it as well as older favourites at his London gig.
