South-east London will be buzzing with a celebration of music, food and arts as On Blackheath returns for a second year.

The village will host performances by the Manic Street Preachers, Elbow, Kelis and Madness on the common during the two-day event, which will take place on September 12 and 13 at Dartmouth Field.

Also on the bill are DJ Gilles Peterson, who will play the Worldwide Stage while Tom Findlay of Groove Armada is set to spin the decks at Make Noise.

Food lovers can attend talks, masterclasses and showcases by chefs including Martin Morales of Ceviche and Greedy Italian Gennaro Contaldo or simply tuck into grub at mini restaurant, The Chef’s Banquet.

The Food Village will also host an array of pop-ups and street food stalls with beer from Meantime Brewery to ensure guests are suitably lubricated.

Live shows from presenters on TV’s Milkshake will keep the kids entertained alongside interactive street theatre and site installations.

Adult weekend tickets start at £89 and under 12s go free.
