Wafting from underneath the Victorian arches diners at The Bayou Banquet will discover traditional fare from the Deep South alongside live funk and soul sounds and Crescent City’s cocktail creations.
The foodie pop up will launch The Vaults Kitchen - a restaurant space at The Vaults event space - with its trademark Supper Club on September 16.
Four courses of soul food will be dished up as diners embrace their quirky surroundings and the sounds of London’s top music talent.
Slap Ya Papa teams up with festival favourites Riot Jazz for a dinner and afterparty on September 18 while its second offering for ravers sees a collaboration with Mardi Gras flag boys Kansas Smitty on September 25.
More foodie fun comes in the form of Eggs, Bacon, Grits, Sausage - an all-day weekend brunch - on September 20 and 26.
The Marbles and Ware Bizarre Bazaar will inject the energy of the New Orleans market scene and its Southern Belle callers to Waterloo’s Lower Marsh stretch on September 19 and 29 with Slap Ya Papa’s cafe on hand for post shopping fuel.
