Top chefs are ready to pit their sliders against one another in Docklands.
The Gun plays host to the Slider Decider on Thursday, June 4, for a third year in which restaurants are invited to come up with the best miniature burger they can.
A shortlist of 16 will compete including Canary Wharf’s Iberica and last year’s winner Tim Anderson of Nanban.
Entries include sliders as outlandish as a ramen-based creation, one with smoked duck neck in it and another stuffed with soft shell crab.
Tickets, which are likely to go quickly, cost £20 and include a Camden Hells lager and two of The Gun’s own sliders.
There will also be live demonstrations from chefs on the night allowing further tasting.
