Brick Lane businesses are offering discounts and prizes in return for tweeting about what you're eating throughout March.
The best images and tweets from the initiative, which is part of Taste Brick Lane month, will be in with a chance of winning an iPad.
Mayor of Tower Hamlets, Lutfur Rahman, said: “Whether you’re looking for food, fashion, spice or culture, Brick Lane has it all.
“Trendy independent shops rub shoulders with art galleries, shops, eateries, and some vibrant street art, to make this street a unique and not-to-be-missed area. So make sure you get the chance to go and sample the ambience over a delicious (and discounted) meal this March.”
Deputy mayor, Cllr Oliur Rahman added: “With our Taste Brick Lane campaign we want to get people talking about the food that they’ve eaten there, and give Brick Lane a big boost in terms of footfall.”
When tweeting, use #tastebricklane.
