At today’s Canary Wharf Lunch Market there are plenty of options from around the globe - from Argentinian dishes and Ethiopian curries to sugary doughnuts and British staple fish and chips.

We went for a look around and picked our favourite dishes from the stalls in Montgomery Square.

Fin and Trotters - @FinsAndTrotters

This wins “best name” hands down and from the looks of the lightly battered fish and chunky chips we reckon the food will be as good as the title.

From £6.50

Helen Ethio Cuisine

Helen Ethio Cuisine - @HTesgsye

The dishes smelt delicious and looked like they would feed you up until you clock-off for the day.

From £5

Cakehole - @cakeholeshop

Definitely the place to go for a cheeky treat after your lunch or a mid-afternoon snack.

One for £1, six for £5 or 12 for £10

Beach Bar

There’s alcohol at this month’s market. That means you’ll have to take that extra half hour for lunch and relax in the (sort of) sun. Plenty of seating out the back too.

Beach Bar

And think, if you were living here (in 2019) when the new flats are completed, this could be right on your doorstep – as long as the market is still going.

The market runs on Wednesday, June 24, until 3pm.

The next Lunch Markets will be on July 29, August 26 and September 23.
