Do you sometimes feel that getting out your wallet is too much of a hassle to pay for goods? If so you may be in luck.
An independent coffee shop in Shoreditch has become the first UK retailer to accept Apple Pay, in which customers can wave their iPhones or Apple Watches over a reader on the till as a form of payment.
Shoreditch Grind, near Old Street Roundabout, said it was “offering their start-up neighbours the chance to be part of Apple history and step into the future with a great cup of coffee.”
Apple have said that they want the service to replace consumers’ wallets, with quicker and more secure transactions.
