The sun is out (and who knows how long for) so get yourself outside as much as possible with our handy list of al fresco venues on the estate and West India Quay.
Canada Square Park (better for mornings)
They make a mean tequila mojito here - and there's plenty of Mexican nibbles to feast on.
Look out at the view from the fourth floor dining terrace with one of the great cocktails they do - or a three-course meal
There's plenty of seating outdoors - with a great view of Canada Square Park - and it has its own Peroni Bar as well
Cabot Place (perfect for lunch time drinks and eats)
Serving up a selection of Spanish tapas and pinchos this is a great place for al fresco dining - there's even a spot of beer sangria as well.
Here you can relax next to a small calming waterfall with a pizza and bottled beer.

Reuters Plaza (good for afternoon to evening food and drinks)
It can be quite breezy here at times, which will be more than welcome in the summer months. It's a good place for a quick drink on the way to the tube.
there's even more space to sit outside following a recent refurb earlier this year - and all the old favourite cocktail deals and moreish food to take you late into the evening.

Although this is a good place for a leisurely breakfast, it can be a lively, yet relaxed venue for post-work refreshment too.
It's always lively outside this American-themed bar and restaurant. Stay for the affordable drinks and comfort food.
West In India Quay (better for evenings)
As the name maybe suggests there is a lot of rum here - including mouth-watering cocktails.
This is a great place for big groups and there's plenty of discounts and offers on drinks and food.

Relax on the specialist cigar terrace with one of the many concoctions from the hotel's bar G&Tea.
Westferry Circus (great for an evening by the River Thames)
Its garden had a revamp for summer and there's a slightly more intimate outdoor area. The food is simple Italian at its best.
The lychee and roses cocktail is an absolute must for an cocktail fans and make sure to make some time for dinner a well as the restaurant has really upped its game recently, with juicy burger and crispy spicy wings the ones to go for. The view of the River Thames is enough of a reason to head there though.

Chinese may not seem like the obvious go-to cuisine when its hot out, but there are plenty of options and some delicious cocktails that should be tried.
Juicy Argentinian steaks and a full wine list to match it with - perfect.
