Feast your eyes on film fashions and ogle over everything from Gwyneth Paltrow’s Shakespeare In Love gown to a polar bear costume donned by Judi Dench.

Dressed By Angels is the latest exhibition at Shoreditch ’s Old Truman Brewery and tells the story behind Angels, the world’s greatest costume house.

The firm is famed for providing the outfits for many Oscar and Bafta award winning flicks over the past 175 years as well as Olivier and Tony Award winning theatre.

These include Dita Von Teese’s showgirls dress from Melissa Plastic Dream’s magazine shoot, an Artic Monkey Elf costume which featured in Santa Claus The Movie and Felicity Jones’ dress as featured in recent box office hit The Theory of Everything.

A preserved dress from 1860 sits pride of place at the heart of the collection, while the 2015 showcase includes fresh items sourced from the set of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Star Wars and The Iron Lady as well as blockbuster musical, Wicked.

Items including letters, artefacts and photographs will also be on-show at the fashion frenzy.
