Paintings of Charlie Sheen, Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson went on display last week as part of the launch of Lincoln Townley's new role as artist in residence at The Marriott Hotel in West India Quay.
The Hollywood Collection is displayed alongside a selection from his Banker Collection, which were part of a private viewing on April 16.
He said: “What some of the most iconic names in Hollywood share with wealthy and powerful bankers is a hunger to live on the edge, to push the rules to the limit and to take huge risks to get what they want. Fame, addiction and madness are all closely linked and in these two collections, they find their most graphic expression.”
General manager at the Marriott, Bertrand Dijoux, said: "It is a pleasure to play host to Lincoln's fantastic work and very exciting that the hotel is becoming part of his amazing story. There are few artists whose work is as powerful and challenging as Lincoln’s and we look forward to a long and successful collaboration.”
