This summer's reopening of the Olympic Park will see Jay Z and Justin Timberlake perform together at an all-star festival.

The acts were already going to perform a night each at the venue but it was announced on Tuesday morning they would unite for a a third. It will be a preview of their North American Legends of The Summer Stadium Tour.

The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will swap last year's summer of sport for the sounds of music by hosting major concerts during 2013.

Entertainment and ecommerce company Live Nation Entertainment has secured exclusive rights to stage the Wireless Festival and Hard Rock Calling at the Stratford venue, after it was given the nod by the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC).
