London Docklands Volleyball enjoyed a double home winning weekend with victories over Cambridge and Newcastle Staffs.

Cambridge came to Bacon’s College on Saturday (April 5) knowing that nothing less than a win would do. But
Docklands produced a fine display to ease to a 3-1 win, consigning Cambridge to relegation from National League division one.

Sunday's (April 6) visit of Staffs saw Docklands run out 3-2 winners, although the midlands side gave them a scare.

LONDON Docklands volleyball team slumped to defeat in their latest National League fixture.

Playing only their third league match of 2008, against Bristol last Saturday (March 29), Docklands lack of match practice showed as they slid to a 3-0 defeat.

The defending champions have had a difficult campaign following a host of retirements after last season's double-winning campaign, and this latest loss left them firmly in mid-table with nothing to play for other than pride.
