Any problems? A clean bill of good health on the Tube, DLR and the roads. Following the surprise closure of Greenland Pier by Southwark Council, Thames Clippers has today announced that it will re-open for the first sailing tomorrow. Thames Clippers says: "Although we were frustrated by the sudden closure of the pier we are pleased that the council are addressing the immediate damage and look forward to ongoing discussions with them about the regular upkeep needed for the pier."

00jul17transport26.jpgAny problems? The bad news for Thames Clippers users is Greenland Pier has closed. Season ticket holders should use the service between Canary Wharf and the Hilton Pier until Greenland Pier is reopened, which could take a very long time.

The Tube and DLR have no reported problems, while on the roads traffic is building on the Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach.

Any problems? Part closure of the Metropolitan mars an otherwise clean bill of health for the Tube system. A good service is also running on the DLR, although the escalators are out of action at Bank. On the roads, Creek Road / A200 (Greenwich) is suffering congestion as traffic signals are out of order. There are slight delays through the southbound bore of the Blackwall tunnel.

The DLR is running a good service after resolving problems this morning, while Thames Clippers river services are running smoothly. On the roads there are no reported incidents.

Any Problems? The Piccadilly line is currently subject to minor delays following a signal failure at Arnos Grove. However, a good service is operating on all other public transport at the moment. On the roads there are significant delays around Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach. An accident on the southbound carriageway has led to a two-lane closure.

On the roads an earlier problem in the Blackwall Tunnel has been cleared and traffic is flowing normally.

transport2.jpgAny problems? A good service is operating on the Underground, apart from minor delays on the Piccadilly line. Bank DLR station remains closed until next Monday but otherwise a good service is operating across the network. Thames Clippers river services are running smoothly.

On the roads there are no reported incidents in the area.

Any problems? There are minor delays on the District line between Earls Court and Wimbledon due to power problems, and Bank station will remain closed until February 1.

It is in the nature of think-tank proposals that they are heavy on vision and light on detail. That goes with the territory.

This inevitably leaves a flank exposed. Those on the inside can easily find fault, perhaps viewing the authors as well-meaning amateurs, finding the illusion of clarity in muddied waters.

Any Problems? In short, no. All Tube lines are running without delays and the DLR is operating a good service despite the ongoing month-long closure of Bank station.

Any problems? Madness, chaos and mayhem strike as the snow has turned to ice and the world has ground to a halt. TfL warns of major disruption to bus services while there are delays on the following lines: Circle, Hammersmith and City, Jubilee and Piccadilly. Meanwhile the Blackwall Tunnel is closed northbound due to a broken down vehicle. However, the DLR is working as normal.

Christmas is here - and with it comes the usual spate of transport closures that will hit both commuters and revellers over the festive period.

The Jubilee line faces a four day closure. It is completely suspended from Christmas Day until December 28, with four rail replacement buses operating.

00jul17transport2web.jpgJubilee line users face months of weekend closures in the new year and no service at all over Easter as upgrade work continues.

From January 9 sections of the line will be shut for all but three weekends up to and including Easter, when the entire line will close between April 2-5.

Thames Clippers are now Oyster-friendly as of this morning, so pay-as-you-go users are eligible for a 10 per cent discount if they decide to ride the river.

Rush hour tube travel was suspended for more than 20 minutes this morning after an eastbound train limped into North Greenwich station.

No Jubilee line trains were in operation between London Bridge and Stratford from 9.20am to 9.44am while engineers resolved the problem, and delays are still occurring in both directions.
