It's been "coming soon" for what seems like an eternity but Baguette finally opened for business this morning.

The sandwich bar in Canada Square mall has for months been surrounded by hoardings advertising its arrival and it served its first customers at 11am today.

A patisserie has started a new service to deliver breakfast and lunch directly to offices around the Wharf.

Paul, originally a small French family-run bakery and patisserie from Croix, near Lille, is offering to bring sandwiches, salads, or pastries to workers' desks either for a personal lunch, or larger platters for business meetings.
