This paneled pub in Notting Hill falls just on the wrong side of giving too much weight to the food. Excellent smoked salmon though.

The popular Canary Wharf pub was earmarked for demolition after Glenkerrin received planning approval two years ago to build a 62 storey tower on the land.

Blaze hits disused Island pub

A DISUSED Isle of Dogs pub was damaged by fire late on Sunday, despite being next door to Millwall fire station.

Four engines crewed by 20 firefighters were called to the blaze at the Anchor and Hope on Westferry Road at 9.53pm and had the fire under control by 11.24pm. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
