Canary Wharf commuters suffered major delays today when the Jubilee line was suspended during the morning peak. The problem was compounded by the suspension of the Metropolitan line.
The Jubilee line was suspended between Stanmore and Wembley Park with severe delays along the remainder of the route. The chaos was caused by failure to finish overnight work.

The Jubilee line is suffering severe delays. There is no service between North Greenwich and Stratford with minor delays on the rest of the line due to a faulty train at Stratford.

Any problems? Earlier minor delays on the Jubilee line have cleared up and a good service is running on all Tube lines and the DLR, the Overground being the usual exception. The roads are also clear.
London life is once again being disrupted by a Tube strike today, but in fact a third of the usual service is running and more stations are open than during the last strike.
Canary Wharf Tube station was able to open at around 9.30am thanks to volunteers and union members who are not striking.
Evolution has no foresight. It doesn't know where it's going. It plods along mutating here and there in the hope that serendipity will give it a shot. Such is the path followed by The Dome.
The dark days of 2001 act as a reminder of the general cluelessness and lack of direction that dogged much of the millennium experience.
