Skating stars from ITV's Dancing on Ice were practicing their moves in Canada Square yesterday as filming for the new series got underway.

The ice rink was shut to the public, while film crews shot the skaters under huge red lights and bright flares, with Canada Square's buildings illuminated in the background.
