Residents of a Leyton tower block where surface-to-air missiles are being deployed for the Olympics have dropped their legal case because of expense.

On Tuesday, the High Court ruled in favour of the Ministry of Defence's move to set up missiles in a ring that includes Blackheath and Tower Hamlets. Solicitors say there will be no appeal.
