Andy Warhol famously said everyone will have 15 minutes of fame but entrants to a competition set up by musician Joan Armatrading could find that quarter-hour leads to a whole new career.

The award-winning singer-songwriter is embarking on a British tour next year, which includes two dates at the Indigo2, and she's offering local acts the chance of a 15-minute support slot at each gig.

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is set to unveil his debut collection of fine art later this month, with his limited edition prints available in Canary Wharf.
