Greenwich band Squeeze might have been given a lasting memorial in the borough and founder member Glen Tilbrook is looking forward to the future.

The band, formed in Deptford in the early 1970s, have had their achievements commemorated with a plaque at the Greenwich Dance Agency in Royal Hill.

Their name is Latin for "I will please" and that's exactly what alt-rockers Placebo will be aiming to do when they arrive in North Greenwich next week.
