Crossrail is looking for expressions of interest to build the £50million tunnel portal at Victoria Dock.

It will be the last of five new tunnel portals to be built as part of the project, with work scheduled to start in autumn next year. The contract should be awarded next spring.

The Rotherhithe Tunnel is to close from Sundays to Thursdays for the next three weeks, starting this weekend.

The road link will shut between 10pm and 5am for five nights a week between January 10-28 for engineering works.
