Police charge three over Isle of Dogs death

A man and two women have been charged over the attack in the Isle of Dogs which left a 20-year-old man dead.

Shofique Uddin and Gulbahar Begum, both aged 50, and from Larson Walk in E14 - the same street as where the attack took place on Tuesday evening - were charged over the incident.

police new.JPGDetectives investigating the attempted murder of Russian banker German Gorbuntsov have revealed they believe the weapon used in the shooting was a pistol.

Mr Gorbuntsov was shot a number of times as he entered a block of apartments on Byng Street, E14 on March 20.

The 16-year-old private school boy was saved from sustaining more serious injuries by the laptop he was carrying.

Four men and a woman escaped unharmed from the Capston Square house which firefighters said appeared not to have any smoke alarms.

The 17-year-old victim was hit over the head with a glass bottle in the early hours of January 22 this year.
