Funky bar/restaurant proves to be a popular newcomer in the heart of Canary Wharf.
The long wait came to an end two weeks ago when the Park Pavilion in Canada Square, finally saw its first leisure venues open their doors.
The frontage of One Canada Square has been transformed, and paying customers have been sampling the two newest additions to the Canary Wharf restaurant and bar scene, the Parlour and Canteen.
Canary Wharf's newest bar is getting ready to open and the woman behind it is confident it will appeal to Wharfers' sense of quirkiness.
The Parlour opens its doors on October 12 in Canada Park Pavilion and for Jillian MacLean, managing director of parent company Drake and Morgan, it will offer something a bit different from other establishments in the area.
South Quay has for too long been overlooked as a dining destination but one restaurant aims to change that by offering good food at affordable prices.
Astons, in Marsh Wall, has revamped its menu, along with its image, making it a definite contender in the eating stakes.
