Any Problems? All public transport and the roads are running freely at the moment. At Bank, when changing from the DLR to the Northern line, to avoid the crowds caused by escalator works, try going via the Circle and District lines. It's a bit of a walk, but far less congested.

Any problems? A clean bill of good health on the Tube, DLR and the roads. Following the surprise closure of Greenland Pier by Southwark Council, Thames Clippers has today announced that it will re-open for the first sailing tomorrow. Thames Clippers says: "Although we were frustrated by the sudden closure of the pier we are pleased that the council are addressing the immediate damage and look forward to ongoing discussions with them about the regular upkeep needed for the pier."

Any problems? A good service is reported on the DLR and the Jubilee line - and all other Underground lines. Hold-ups on the northern section of the Blackwall Tunnel due to a broken-down car have eased and the traffic is running smoothly.

Any Problems? The Piccadilly line is currently subject to minor delays following a signal failure at Arnos Grove. However, a good service is operating on all other public transport at the moment. On the roads there are significant delays around Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach. An accident on the southbound carriageway has led to a two-lane closure.

Any problems? Madness, chaos and mayhem strike as the snow has turned to ice and the world has ground to a halt. TfL warns of major disruption to bus services while there are delays on the following lines: Circle, Hammersmith and City, Jubilee and Piccadilly. Meanwhile the Blackwall Tunnel is closed northbound due to a broken down vehicle. However, the DLR is working as normal.
Isle of Dogs residents fear they will be marooned once the Greenwich Foot Tunnel shuts for maintenance.
The underground will be closed later this year for up to ten months, a move which has infuriated residents already plagued with tube, bus and DLR disruption.
Wharfers face more travel problems this weekend when the DLR shuts for engineering work.
The line between Canary Wharf and Lewisham will be suspended on Saturday, while the Poplar/Westferry to Lewisham route will be closed on Sunday.

Commuters faced major problems getting to Canary Wharf and beyond this morning. A signalling problem at Canning Town halted all services from Beckton and Woolwich Arsenal. A rail replacement bus service took some of the strain and the service started to get back to normal mid-morning with DLR reporting minor delays.

I'm hunkering down. I've bought a dozen cans of Spam, the greatest hits of Flanagan and Allen and I've converted my Breville Sandwich Toaster into an AM transmitter.
I shall live for a week behind a dusty yardage of innocuous-looking books with titles like Capitalism? Think On.

Any Problems? After significant disruption this morning, the public transport network appears to have recovered. All Tube services are currently running without delay and there is a good service on the DLR. River services are also running well and there are no reported problems on the roads.

All services on the DLR are currently suspended after a train came off the rails at West India Quay.
Further disruption is expected over the next few hours and it is not clear when services will return to normal.
