OPLC submit plans for Olympic cycle paths

Miles of cycling routes could arrive on the Olympic site once the Games finish next summer.

The Olympic Park Legacy Company is aiming to build a one mile road cycle route and eight kilometers of mountain bike trails around the area to complement the existing Velodrome and BMX tracks.

The 30 Canary Wharf-based lawyers and 18 of their suppliers arrived in central London yesterday after completing the 450-mile ride in just five days - with one of their team making the journey on a Barclays hire bike.
