3D keeps Cineworld figures high

With 3D film fans flocking to West India Quay - and a new venue at The O2 - it's been a busy year for Cineworld in the Docklands.

The firm's recent financial results, show it is expecting a stronger second half to the year following a flat first six months - mainly due to the public neglecting cinemas for the World Cup.

West India Quay's hitting all the right notes during its festival with at least one of the area's bars having to take on more staff to deal with an increase in customers.

The third week of the British Big Splash has seen jazz and folk artists playing at the Wharf's hot summer location.
