WHARFERS are being invited to get on their bikes to help raise money for a very worthwhile cause.

The “Chaucer Challenge”, a 75-mile cycle ride from Greenwich to Canterbury, is taking place on Sunday, September 14, in aid of the Children’s Trust.

Starting in Greenwich Park, the route winds through the scenic Kent countryside, including the Pilgrims’ Way, and finishes in Canterbury, where a picnic lunch will be provided at St Augustine’s Abbey for participants.
