A pair of gun wielding robbers who held-up convenience stores in south-east London have been sentenced to a combined total of 16 years in prison.

Karlington Appleby, 33, and Venrese Hanshaw, 39, both from Tamar Street in Charlton carried, out seven armed robberies in seven weeks.

A MAN arrested over an armed robbery at Bootys bar has been eliminated from police enquiries.
