An accident at the Canning Town Flyover has caused the A13 to close westbound for most of Tuesday morning.

The collision was reported at around 6.40am and the road has since been closed from Prince Regent Lane, impacting on other routes across east London.

A car which refused to stop for police after being seen speeding through the Limehouse Link ploughed into a motorcyclist moments later.

Police closed Westferry Road on Tuesday afternoon after a pedestrian was hit by a car and left with serious head injuries.

Officers were called to the scene, at the junction of Strafford Street, at around 4.30pm. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance following the accident.

A collision between two buses and a motorcycle in Limehouse on Monday morning left 14 people needing hospital treatment.

A bus driver suffered "multiple injuries" and the motorcyclist had neck and back injuries following the incident on Commercial Road at 8.52am.

Bugsby's Way in Greenwich is currently closed in both directions following a crash involving a woman and a bus.

The incident happened at 5.15pm this afternoon and the woman's condition has not been confirmed.
