The two men charged with the murder of Vitalijs Janovics in Bermondsey have been remanded in custody until November 4.

Kai Taliana and Khaled Ait-Said, both aged 18, were refused bail at the Old Bailey this afternoon. Mr Janovics was stabbed to death outside Bermondsey Underground station in the early hours of July 22.

Two 18-year-old men have been charged with the murder of Vitalijs Janovics on July 22.

Kai Taliana of Vauban Estate, SE16, and Khaled Ait-Said of Guinness Court, Mansell Street, E1 appeared at Croydon Magistrates Court last Saturday. They were remanded to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow.

Police investigating the murder of Vitalijs Janovics in Bermondsey last Friday have released CCTV images showing him just before he was fatally stabbed.

Detectives hope the CCTV images will jog someone's memory and witnesses will come forward to assist with the investigation.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a man outside Bermondsey Underground station.

The men, both aged 18, were arrested on Tuesday evening on suspicion of the murder of Vitalijs Janovics in the early hours of last Friday morning.
